New Reports Layout

We have just released a small change in the layout of the reports page within 3SD Financial accounts package.  This will help, separate the various reports out into relevant sections.

The reports section can be found from the top navigation heading called "Reporting".

Other changes and corrections

  1. We saw a small mistake in the calculation of the current year's gift aid claim that we have fixed.
  2. Add the ability to add an envelope to a one-off GAD
  3. Fixed a small bug from the new drop down menu options that allowed you to see other pages not relevant to certain systems.

Yes, that is right.  The top line of each row is either the 1st line of the split or a single (non split) transaction.

So if you have a split, for example an weekly cash sheet,. you would enter the first line of the sheet in the first split.

Regards,

Chris

Thank you.  I didnt realise the top line could be the first line of a split entry. Pauline

Pauline again - apologies - what am I doing wrong.  When entering a debit from the bank, I cannot allocate a 'location' unless I enter it as a split entry, whereupon I cannot 'submit' the entry unless there is an entry under sub categories in the top line.  When there are several entries under a 'split' entry this top line sub category cannot apply to all entries.

I can enter an expense NOT AS A SPLIT ENTRY then when I want to amend it via the transactions tab, I can then enter a location, cheque number type of transaction etc etc.  Why are these boxes not available for one entry that does not need to be a split entry.  I apologise if I am missing the obvious and hoping you understand this query.

PLEASE IGNOR ALL THE ABOVE - IVE SORTED IT - REALLY SORRY - JUST PANICKING.

But would like to know why I cant get a report on location s within third party receipts/payments as I wish to identify that some third party monies come from a certain group within our Parish/  I woulod like to be able to identify that groups donations as separate from  parish collections for third parties.

Peter Stringer.     05.09.11         I work on three different church accounts.   When clicking on the Finacial Manager's button I usually get the choice of the  three accounts     Today the choice has disappeared, leaving me with the iniial account.   I,m sure it's only a blip and that you can fiox it..
