Gift Aid and stipend account

If the PP stipend account is not in OPAS how can I claim Gift Aid on legitimate donations made to him? The help module mentions 'direct entry' and a Gift Aid selection tab for 'Add a Donation.'

As it stands the parish cannot enter nor claim gift aid on donations on the stipend account if not set up on OPAS. This is because direct entry of donations is not possible for parishes if using OPAS because entry has to be via the bank accounts. The only way would be for admin to create a gift aid only account on the system where direct entry of donations is possible.
