The 3rd Sector Digital Team are excited to announce our latest product - Data Backup Manager.

We had received a number of requests to provide the means to access your own backup as often as you desire.  

As a customer of 3SD we do automatically backup and manage your data as part of our standard service.  However, this is managed as part of a general back up rountine and access to individual customers' data is restricted to 3SD only.

Giving you Peace of Mind

Signing up to use this service means that your data is separately backup up every day to a secure folder within our network.  As administrator, you can then decide to leave the files on our secure servers or simply download them onto your own computer for peace of mind.

Keeping a full back of your data gives you peace of mind in knowing that you have full control over your data.

To download a backup file...

1. Navigate to the Admin section and click on"Backups" tab
2. Simply click on the file you wish to download and save it to the desired location.

These backup files are the raw source data direct from our database e.g. sql data.

Data Mining and Reporting

As an additional feature of the new service all data can also be exported into csv format quickly and easily from the interface in order to generate reports and other analysis over and above those provided by our current systems.  In other words, if you have analytical requirements that are unique to you, or have software that you would like to use to interrogate your data, you will now be in a position to do this.

To extract data into csv format, click on the relevant dataset on the interface e.g. gads or donations analysis
