We are launching our “Thinking about tomorrow” campaign.

If you remember the Fleetwood Mac song (Don’t stop) and are happy with yesterday’s ways of working, you might just stop here and watch this video.

Alternatively, if you’re interested in catching a new tide – one that exploits the opportunities presented by new technology platforms – you might join in.

Ask yourself this

  • Do I really want my organisation to carry on working with these fragmented systems and databases, when we could all be on the same platform?
  • Do we really need to own all this software we have, when we could pay-as-we-go and access things over the web?
  • Wouldn’t it be better if we had the flexibility to access our business tools and data from wherever we’re to connect to the Internet (even on my smartphone)?

If tomorrow is about anything its about sharing (e.g. IT platforms and software) and collaborating, rather than working in working in isolation.

It’s not just us saying this. Look a recent book by US author Lisa Gansky: The Mesh - why the future of business is sharing. New models are emerging, says Gansky, that are about ‘network-enabled sharing - access rather than ownership’.

The book and its online companion (www.meshing.it) provide over 1,000 examples where people and businesses are working together in new ways, mashing up online data and services, to create new sources of value and bring down costs.

Even The Economist has majored on the importance of cloud computing, and the threats to traditional PC-based software.

See our Statement of Beliefs

If you want to see where we’re coming from on this, and what we stand for, please read our Statement of Beliefs. These are the key underpinnings to our services and products, and are also principles that underlie a new way of working.

Take a look and tell us what you think. Yesterday’s gone. We don’t want to go back there.

If you have any thoughts on our beliefs, or want to know what they mean in practice, get in touch -  email us on enquiries@3rdsectordigital.com, or call us on 0800 019 6875.
