How to download a CSV database file and view it's contents in Excel

Export a database file
Following our recent backup manager release the ability to download a csv file that includes all the data nicely separated within areas can now be done.
Downloading the data into excel will allow you create further reports and help to analyse data the way you want instead of being restricted to the reports that we offer.
To download a csv file, follow the video demonstration below.

Below is a quick guide to the data that will be of most interest
| Claim Details | History of all claims made within the Diocese. If data has been imported from other software then this will show this data also. |
| Donations | This is the full list of all claimed and outstanding donations. Be aware, this will probably be a big file! |
| Gads | Gift Aid Declaration details such as start claim, signed date etc. Please note this is linked to "Parishioners" |
| Parishioners | This holds information relating to all parishioners within the Diocese |
| Parishes | Contains all information on all parishes listed within the system |
| Recurring | Contains details of all recurring entries (e.g. standing orders and direct debits) |
| Bknom | Contains information relating to the cash accounts transactions |
| Subcategories | Contains references to all sub category codes that have been created |
