How do I export a report into Excel?

I am trying to export a Standard Report into Excel. I have specified 12 months January to December 2009, and the report appears on screen. However, when I right click and select 'Export to Microsoft Excel', the Excel file only shows the current month (January 2011). How can I get the full report into Excel?
