If you have allocated an envelope number against the wrong donor but have already allocated donations against it then you will be unable to simply transfer the envelope number to the correct donor.  However, all is not lost and you can still transfer the number across as long as there are no claimed donations within the year.

1. In the incorrect donor, delete all Envelope donations against the wrongly allocated envelope.
2. Navigate to the correct donor and under the envelope management section type in the envelope number you require.
3. The system will ask you whether you wish to transfer this envelope number from the named person (the incorrectly allocated donor) - as this is correct click on proceed to complete the transfer.
4. Go to the envelope allocation screen (where you allocate envelope numbers to weekly collections) and you will see a payment that is outstanding for allocation - this will relate to the donations you have deleted from the original incorrect donor.
5. Click on these unallocated weekly collections and re-enter the envelope number to balance the payment.
